Man should not be a creature confined by habit and repetition. He should always ask why something works the way it works and try to understand the reasons for why it works. Kids for example do not add sugar to tea because it is sweet but rather because they find the dissolving of sugar in the tea almost magical. Understanding this little piece of knowledge, I think, is crucial to understanding the psychology of children.

That is why I think it is important for people to have somewhat of a grasp of many subjects so that they can understand the universe that they live in and be of benefit to it. Even learning of simple everyday things such as: why we reflexively steer our bike to the right when falling that way rather than the opposite, or how best to grow house plants that beautify our homes, or how to properly prepare tea for the best taste, or why we cannot divide numbers by zero, or why all quadrilaterals have the sum of the exterior angles equal to 360, or which type of screw is best for different jobs around our house.

Now the question is, how do we achieve an efficient learning habit? Is there a method of learning suitable for everyone? While it is impossible to make everyone happy in this world, there is a way for everyone to learn more efficiently; teaching what you learn! In other words, the Feynman Technique!
