Isn’t YouTube a wonderful thing? It’s just a bunch of kindhearted people sharing everything they know with you without asking for a dime. Every time I learn something from it, I want to hug the screen.
Some time ago, again on YouTube, I watched an interview with Isaac Asimov from 1988, where the great Asimov predicted precisely what the internet would eventually become. He even brilliantly predicted the teaching role that YouTube would take, saying, “Once we have computer outlets in every home, each of them hooked to enormous libraries. Where anyone can ask any question and be given answers.” You can watch the interview below.
YouTube has become the best tool for men in this day and age. Your odds of not seeing a comment saying, “I studied this topic in university from my professor for years, and this 10-minute video did a better job explaining it to me.” In a way, these comments signify the ridiculousness of our education system.
